Hi Debbie, probably had same problem you have. Leaking from underneath the float chamber via a sprung toggley thing (?). To fix...Remove brass float chamber, by undoing nut then twist, pull the chamber free. Beware there may still be petrol in the chamber which will go everywhere. Use the sprung toggley thing to let out the petrol if there is any. Push it upwards. Inside the chamber there is or should be a small washer where the toggley thing goes through the brass casing of the float chamber. Replace with an suitable sized O ring. Reassemble. Make sure ALL the existing washer has been removed. If you take the brass chamber to a car parts supplier they should help find the right size and fit the washer for you. Simple but fiddly job. Hope this solves your problem. I think it is advisable not to tip the mower too much doing this and probably a safeguard to pull off the plug lead, oh and switch the fuel fed off before you start. Good luck
