Finally found the cause of the N28W type relay welding below on the PCB. The compressor start relay had poor contacts and was causing high current on compressor start. Fitted identical univeral 1/8hp start relay from spares4applicances, code:S4AP2658. TC100 now 100% again.

Theres a small relay on the PCB inside that can wled its contacts making the compressor run continuously anf freeze up, so no water collected.
Maplin sell N28AW PCB relay which can be fitted as a replacement.

Before ditching it,try turning it upside down for a few minutes, then back upright.Leave it for an hour or two to let the fluid settle down again, then give it a try. It's an old un-broadcasted trick used by engineers, told to me by a very trusted engineer to fix my electrolux caravan fridge which was apparently "dead".....and it worked!
Last night it worked on my amcor tc100 dehumidifier...which is basically a fridge without a cupboard!!
What sometimes happens is that the fluid [especially on really hot days],creates a vapour-lock,which prevents the compressor from pumping the refrigerant fluid, causing over-heating and thermal protection cut-off.
Unscrupulous engineers would charge for a new compressor, when in fact it's o.k.
If you ask any respectable engineer advice, about this,i bet you will find my advice is valid, even though yours might,in fact,be kaput!!
Hope this helps other people who might just have a vapour-lock problem.

Sounds like the compressor has had it - You can check by running it for 5-10 mins, shut off , unplug & then remove cover and feel the coolant pipes by the radiator fins. If they are not pretty cold the compressor has had it.
If its dead I would be interested in buying the fan if its compatable (I need a 2 speed fan from a TC100) - let me know - thanks rsrogers at screaming.net
