Where can I get operating instructions for the Dimplex CXL xxN? I need one?Where can I get operating instructions for the Dimplex CXL xxN?
Although the instructions are on the top panel they are too brief for the less technically challenged like me to work out the options available. So I would be grateful, very grateful if someone could offer some advice.
Thank you

I need some too, so may try a store that sells them and get them to show me or copy the manual.
They should be simple really
storage heaters have an input and output control, but you have to be a clairvoyant!
the heater stores energy overnight, so the colder it is going to be the higher you set the input.
turn the output right down overnight and turn it up when you want more heat out, during the day, or just let it trickle out.
the combined storage and convector heaters - you can switch that on anytime and set the temperature at the front, for instant heat (I think, as this is the bit on mine that doesn't work!!)
BUT-If your heater is powered on the night time electricity, I assume you can only use it as a convector heater at night :-(
Hope that helps

Phone Dimplex 01489 773000 & ask to speak to customer services.
They'll send you an instruction manual.

I managed to get installation and operating instructions sent to me. I got a landline number for Dimplex from 'saynoto0870' website and then luckily via switchboard put through to very helpful person and was sent instructions. Maybe, if enough people ring they'll make them 'downloadable'.
