Qualcast, Cobra 32, Lawn Mower.
The start and stopping switch in my lawn mower has come apart. I have got an "L" shape piece of metal, in which i do not know were it is supposed to be placed ,within the container?
Can anyone tell me were about this part sits?
Or does anyone have a manual or diagrams that show how to put together this part?
Take the half of the switch housing which does NOT contain the red push button. Looking at the inside of the housing and with the flat edge to the top look towards the top left of the housing. You should see a 1 inch slot in the housing. Just below the slot there is a curved section of moulding around half an inch long, that is where the spring fits. With the tang of the spring on the left and facing downwards, position the spring so that it passes across the top of the curved moulding. The tang should drop into its seat to the left to the moulding and the other end should be resting on another section of moulding to the right of the curved section. Job done.
Manual can be viewed here: http://www.gardeningessentials.co.uk/cobra32.pdf and parts diagram can be viewed here: http://www.powertools-aftersalesservice.com/public/Qualcast;jsessionid=fFCbriyAKlEXwfkCFFZrxUS?lgRedirect=true
If you need any parts then we can supply them via the website below.
That is the lever return spring. it sits in a groove in one half of the swithcbox casing. Very difficul to explain what part without physically showing you. There are no manuals or diagrams produced by Qualcast. Down to experience and practical knowledge I'm afraid.
