FGS Storad Heater?Hi, I have an FGS Storad wall mounted storage heater and really need a manual. I have no other information on it at all. It has a convector switch on the left hand side and an output switch on the right, with 2 switches on the wall - both unlabelled! Please help!

Hi. It has two methods of heating. The convector is instant and will be controlled by one switch (mine has a fuse on it, but you can work it out by a process of elimination and waiting a couple of mins). The instant heat is usually expensive, and will be charged at a normal electricity/day rate.
The 'other' switch and 'output' dial will be for the overnight storage. So you would turn this switch on one evening, set the dial to somewhere middle to high (turn clockwise and you will hear a click which is a thermostat), mine is clockwise for highest. Then overnight it will heat up the radiator at the overnight electricity rate, or Economy 7 or Economy 10, which are cheaper and it will give off heat the next day and evening. It will also give off heat in the night as it is heating up.
They are a pain as you have to plan a day or two ahead and are a bit all or nothing, so if you are away and leave it off, you can then have a quick burst on the convector if you need it. Hope that helps.
