Maybe this reset method will stop it ( or maybe the battery needs changing ,may be the same beep warning you get when a smoke alarm battery is running low).
ST6000 - USER INSTRUCTIONS
TO SET THE ALARM:-
Enter your four digit code
TO UNSET THE ALARM:-
Enter your four digit code
TO PART SET THE ALARM:-
Enter your code and press 'set'
TO SILENTLY SET:-
Press 'Prog' during exit time
TO OMIT A ZONE/S:-
Press 'Omit' during the exit time,
then the zone numbers, then 'Set'
TO RESET DURING/AFTER AN ALARM:-
Enter your four digit code and press 'Reset'
CUSTOMER PROGRAMMING
TO TEST SYSTEM, SOUNDERS AND STROBE:-
Press 'Prog' and enter your four digit code
Then press '0'
Press '1' to test the strobe, 0 to stop
Press '2' to test the outside sounder, 0 to stop
Press '3' to test the high volume internal sounder, 0 to stop
Press '4' to test the low volume internal sounder, 0 to stop
Press '5' to walk test the system, 0 to stop
To exit test mode press 'Reset'
TO CHANGE CUSTOMER CODE:-
Press 'Prog' then your four digit code, then press '8'
Enter your new four digit code
