I have a P4 2.4 Ghz with 768Mb memory. have recently installed ADSL, connecting through a router using a ZyXEL G202 wirless adapter. Since installing the ADSL my computer keeps jamming. Usually if left to idle for more than 5 minutes but also just randomly when im working. I have tried to update the driver, reinstall the ADSL and check for viruses and adware but nothing works. Any help?
There is a good chance that your driver for your wifi adapter is giving you problems. The problem started after you installed the wifi adapter (the driver is the small piece of software that enables XP to recognize and set up your wifi adapter). I would check the manufacturers website and see if they have any other drivers. Many companies make multiple versions of drivers due to compatibility issues with some computer hardware. See if ZYGEL has a different driver. See if you can find one.
After finding (or not finding one).....
First uninstall your driver software (right click on my computer/go to properties/click on hardware tab/click on device manager button) then click on the PLUS (+) sign next to your adapter/right click on your wifi adapter and select uninstall).
Then turn your computer off. NOW move the ZYGEL USB adapter to a DIFFERENT usb port and boot your computer. Then reinstall the software. Hopefully this will help. If this DOESN'T help, I would consider getting a different, more mainstream brand of adapter like a Linksys or Netgear.

You don't install ADSL on a PC if you are using a router - or anything else for that matter. ADSL is the protocol between your router an your ISP. It has nothing to do with your PC. Your PC connects to the router wither WiFi Or Ethernet. So I think that you need to revisit that bit.
What keeps jamming?
Are you using Vista because there is a known WiFi bug.
