our hd vision has just started leaking after 3 years, i mean how the heck do I even get into this thing?

We had the same problem with ours. When I took the water collection tank out of the machine, I noticed that where the 'valve' of the tank connects into the tumble dryer there was slight ridges left over from the moulding process when they are manufactured. I used a very fine file to remove these burrs and the tank now fits snug and does not leak anymore. I also smeared a little vaseline around the connector O ring.

You could try cleaning the condensor (see the manual for how to get this out from the bottom of the dryer). However, my mother-in-law's tumble (same model) has the same problem, and cleaning the condensor (which hadn't been done in >1 year) unfortunately didn't sort the problem ! I also found this advice on another site: "Plugged filter, screen, or drain. If you hear the pump running, that is a good sign" Good luck ...
