I have the same problem that Herbert Greene reports - to a lesser degree. One side actually performs fairly well, but the other side seems to have restricted gas flow and will barely light and then has a sort of flicering flame that will go out with a puff of air and will not get hot enough to cook. I have attempted to disassemble the unit and it seems there are obstacles to this approach. I think there is either a defective control valve on that side (unlikely) or there is some sort of debris in the lines or the generator. I tried blowing compressed air through the lines with only the control valve on the bad side open. I blew the air through the input fitting where the propane tank attaches. That did not help. I can tell that there is reduced flow on that side because opening the two valves one at a time with tank attached produces a markedly different sound with the bad side sounding like less flow. I think if one could disassemble the unit it wouldn't be difficult to trouble shoot and repair. Anyone got any ideas?

These kind of grills usually have a safety device which controls the flow of gas from the cilinders, as you see to have a problem on both sides I would suggest this is the common demominator, however if and where you can get one, let alone how easy it would be to fit is another issue. I would suggest before lobbing it in the bin though you might want to strip the center unit down and see if anything mechanical is at fault, could be that some debris from cooked food has slipped down inside causing a blockage. !!!Make sure fo course you remove the gas cans first!!!
