My boiler has broken down and it needs a new pressure release valve as I have been informed by a heating engineer. These 'engineers' have taken over a week and a half now to get this part and now they tell me it will take another 4 more days to find. is there a place I can mail order it myself so I can get someone else in to fit it? I have a Ferroli Modena 80E combi boiler. help would be greatly appreciated. Mr coldfingers.
Had the same problem with my 80e, got hold of the part £90 plus VAT. Installed the part myself, really simple replacement.

Well, I ordered a replacement pressure relief valve from a dealer on ebay, £10 delivered, its part number Ferroli 800130.
I could have bought a replacement locally from the plumbers merchants, but it would have been twice as much.
At the moment I'm topping up the system 3 to 6 times a day with a bucket under the boiler to catch the drips :-(

Mine's just failed too, the release valve has a loose red nob on the side marked 3bar, I'm not sure if its the reset or test nob :-( This may be a common failure as all I put in Google was 'Modena 80e spares' I'm looking for the part number...
