how can i get my radio out of safe mode?

DID THIS WORK CAUSE I HAVE THE SAME PROB AND HAVE TRIED TO DO THE SAME AND MINE STILL SAYS 'SAFE' I AM GOING TO THROUGH IT OUT OF THE WINDOW AT HIGH SPEED SOON IF SOMEONE CAN'T HELP ME!!!!!

Switch on ignition, switch off the radio button, press and hold the AS button (on front of radio)then switch on the radio. the display should show "code"after 3 seconds it shows 10----
You will then need to enter the radio code found on the radio passport supplied with the car, if this is not available you will need to contact your Vauxhall garage or a car radio installer.
