How to separate the root 8 cyclone(DC07)?

Hi there, I am trying to separate the root 8 cyclone (yellow cones DC07) from the bottom (grey & yellow dustbucket filter). There are 3 screws inside the root 8 and I have removed them but nothing moved.

I took it apart cos' it lost suction and the problem is pet hair in the centre of the cyclones. I can see with a torch, just neet to get at it as it has compacted with suction.

I'm assuming you're speaking of the two really dusty screws deep inside the bottom of the cyclone, past the two main shafts.
There are actually four more really well-hidden screws on the same plate as those two.

A normal T-15 torx driver bit isn't long enough, because the hex-fitting of the bit can't fit in the recessed screw holes.
You need a hand-tool with a long, narrow shaft to be able to reach the deeply recessed screws at some obscure angle.
A small light really helps.
Locating the screws, they are next to the outer micro-dust holes, looking down into there, the bottom-right and upper-left.
The other two appear to be offset as upper-slightly right and lower-slightly left. They're along the same perimeter as the other two, but hidden beneath the main shaft walls.
I will see if I can reach them, but i hope this helps.

I have a root cyclone on a DC17 Animal that need cleaning. It seems that the lower rubber seal just moved from it's place while cleaning the bin and allowed all the pet hair to trap into the cyclone.
I've tried to remove the two visible screws and tried to take it apart but to no avail. I am looking for some answers as well. If you've happen to trip upon it please post and let me know.
