How can I fix my dead stereo system in my 1994 Honda Accord?

The stereo system in my 1994 Honda Accord is completely dead and there is a cassette adapter stuck in the cassette player. How can I get my cassette adapter out and revive my stereo. Is it possible that it has something to do with my broken antenna?

No biggy. I went to best buy, bought all the stuff i needed
went home and installed the stereo and four speakers. you
need only remove the three screws on the circle part of the
speaker. There are three screws that need to be removed
in the truck to release the speaker covers. (I haven't figured
out the blasted antenna. its been broken for many years.)
make sure you get adapters from the part's dept. they are
easy plug ins. the worst part was getting to the door speakers.
i only unfastened the bottom portion and layed on the
ground. i used a screwdriver to prop the panel open.
i'm a girl so you should have no problem.
