sliding coupling?

persume you are replacing //adding radiator and unable to move pipework that you are teeing into therefore you have purchased slide coupling when using this fitting cut the connecting pipework so that it is as colse as possible make a mark on the pipework so you can see how far the fitting has to be moved into central position the trouble you will find with push fit is that they are large fittings and when you are working in a tight space it can be difficult,you can use plastic pipe and fittings on heating systems and they will stand up to presuresd required however do not use within one meter of the boiler for safety reasons if boiler overheats

Sorry high-spec Please read with question re couplings.

I am an idiot not making it clear. I will be connecting to the existing radiator 15mm feed pipes as it would destroy two runs of expensive parque flooring to reach the 22mm flow pipes. The appliance being the existing bedroom rad. The feeds from that will be going off to the on-suite to feed a towel rail not another rad as I first thought.


I don't know what pressure the Ideal Icos boiler runs at but according to speedfit pushfit joint pack it states 'Suitable for central heating applications' without any mention of limit on pressure except for use on hydraulic unit is a no! no!

but we don't even know what appliance / model your working on
so that would be handy to know or no one will help you.
