how to replace domestic mains stop cock?

whats tools do I need to repair stop cock its concreted in 6 x 6 ins also 1 foot below grown

isolate mains water stopcock in street.
check first before removing existing stopcock of pipe sizes each side of stopcock.
is it 15mm copper both sides or 22m
or your main in may be 20mm or 25mm blue mdpe pipe

fit a full bore lever isolation valve, which are within regs and don't leak or seizen up. compression fitting both ends.
