The clock/ timer on my rangemaster 110 has developed a mind of its own. Sometimes flashing, sometimes static on 0.00 and occasionally working properly. Problem is, when its playing up the oven won't light. Advise please as we are getting fed up with take-aways!!!
Trouble removing top of rangemaster 110 (1997 model 55310). Trying to replace clock timer.

Easiest (only?) solution is to buy a clock from Gas on Spares (see below), which costs around £100, and fit it yourself - this is easily within the reach of anyone who can handle a screwdriver.
If you're not sure how to get the top off the cooker to gain access to the clock, call someone at Rangemaster - they're vvery helpful
Ours is on the blink too. Unplugging / leaving unplugged for 30 minutes / pressing this that or the other - all fail to work. The timer seems to get stuck in some form of auto-timer mode, during which it is impossible to reset the thing to manual operation. After a while the clock starts flashing and it becomes possible to set it to manual mode again and so regain use of the ovens. But eventually it will throw another hissy fit and the cycle starts again.
It seems a replacement clock is the only answer. Any experience with this?

Graham - have got exactly the same problem. Rang rangemaster and then said hold the two buttons on far left under the clock down (at exactly the same time) and then whilst still holding these down hold the button on far right down. Hold all for about 10 seconds and this should clear the problem. It did not work for me though and I reckon I need a new clock/timer - yuk - expensive I expect as out of warranty. Good luck!
