Help! Remove the back of my 90 series kenmore washer?
I'm trying to look at the guts of my washer because it stopped spinning and draining. I can't figure out how to remove the back to get inside. There are two clips at the top that are holding it pretty tight... as well as some plastic prongs that are holding it together as well. Any suggestions??
REMOVE END CAPS ON CONSOLE... REMOVE 2 SCREWS.. FLIP CONSOLE OUT,UP AND OVER.. REMOVE 2 CLIPS AND LID SWITCH CONNECTOR... REPLACE LID SWITCH ON CABINET... THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM

If you are standing in front of the washer stick a screwdriver in the front part of the clip and bend the top of the screwdriver back towards the panel to take them out. After you get those two clips off you will have to unplug the lid switch. Then grab each side of the washer cabinet from in front. Pull/tilt it forward and the whole cabinet should come off.
