How do you remove the rear light clusters on a 2002 Ford Fiesta?
I have a fault with my brake light in the rear light cluster on my 2002 Ford Fiesta(New shape), but after following the instructions in the manual I cannot remove the light cluster to change/tighten the bulb. The manual says to simply undo the two screws and remove the light cluster gently! Well I almost considered smashing it with a hammer. It simply does not come out and the Ford garage want £30 for the pivilege. Help!
On the outside of the vehicle, remove two Philips screws visible next to the plastic light cover. On the inside of the boot, locate a felt flap which is easily lifted to reveal a small cutout, roughly opposite the lower quarter of the plastic cover. Easily found below a small bunch of wires is a barrel type wing nut. Undo it and the entire plastic unit can be removed. From then on, its self explanatory.
