Servis washing machine M6725?Washing machine didn't drain, I opened the filter cleaned out the bits in there including some strands that were caught around the impeller, I had to pull these a bit as very wrapped around impeller.
On starting the machine now impeller is very noisy right at the beginning and machine isn't draining properly after spin.
I can't see any more debris in there, have I broken it?!
How do I fix it.
Thanks in advance.

whoops forgot to say when undoing the hoses etc, you will need a pan to catch the water, no matter how much you think you've drained the machine.

In answer to my own question, I removed the water pump, it's held by 2 bolts on the bottom of the machine (behind the filter) first disconnect the electrical connection (it pushes into the pump) then disconnect the outlet hose and pipe from drum. Then the pump and filter can be separated, two plastic lugs to push in do this. then I pushed the impeller back into pump and turned it by hand, refitted everything and although it is still noisy it now works : )
I got some advice from a friendly washing man (huge thanks to him)
Quote he gave to fix it was £45 for labour +parts new pump would have been aprox £25
It wasn't too hard to do, hope this helps someone else.
