hijacked or funky malware that won't go away?I have had an active guest on my computer for months. I have ran all of the best malware/spyware/registry tools. Eventually what happens is pretty soon none of those programs even work, my system crashes and I have to reinstall. I shut off system restore and delete things and they pop back up within minutes. I get odd error and warning messages and the hacker even tried to send me a instant chat message about my tax program. The odd part about it was I was not on the tax website at the time. Netmeeting, Outlook mssg and remote connections are all shut off. I have changed modems. This thing could have stolen money, passwords and everything but hasn't. All they seem to do is wipe out years of photos. They might finally be off now, because normally I wouldn't be able to send this type of message without crashing. It has something to do with ntpiping and root\cimv2 (?). I bought the computer refurbished and I almost think that I am still attached to their network or something. I have read some strange logfiles that make me think someone somewhere is my boss. I've read logs that it appears they are discussing issues with microsoft and refer to me as a remote service employee. THIS IS WEIRD! Then I read an article that I didn't understand about Netware Services and companies holding onto old SIDs.

best thing to do is remove the hard drive and fit new one,
buying a second hand comp is daft, when you replace the hd dont download junk, keep away from any thing free, you get nothing for nothing, and start anew, dont put anything from your old hd on to the new one,
