how can i fix my aqualisa quartz 9.5 electric shower.?My shower started leaking from body,i took off cover to see where water was comming from, and it seems to be comming from plastic fitting at the bottom of shower unit,is this the [PRD]? there is a slight leak from shower hose, would that cause the prd to kick in? if so what needs to be re-placed,many thanks, Tony.

Hi Tony, just had the very same problem with a 10.5.
As the Meerkat says simples....your diagnosis is spot on, well in my case anyway...
Hose case split, hose bent = back pressure, pop.
3 screws, one electrical click connector and 1 further screw...new hose and PRD replaced within minutes and only 24 hours after ordering parts from Aquilisa.
Hope this helps

Hi, yes the plastic tube is the PRD. If the hose is leaking then that generally means that through use the outer protection on the hose is weakened and the inner hose is now weak and could have collapsed which in turn would cause back pressure and cause the prd to operate (as it should). This is my best guess. Replace the hose and showerhead before replacing the prd.
I hope this helps.
