Does my Hoover PE235 1300 Spin Special Edition need re-programming?I have the above mentioned washing machine and have been completely happy with it until recently. I had my utility room refurbished and the machine was unplugged and resited after a few days. Ever since then, it has stubbornly started it's programme and then completely stopped so that I have to switch the machine off, move the dial round manually to the next stage of the programme and switch it back on. This continues until I have manually switched it to spin and then it stops. It kind of defeats the purpose of having an "automatic" washing machine! There is nothing in the handbook to suggest what may be causing this problem. I wondered if perhaps the machine just needs to be re-programmed or something simple like that- I really can't afford a new machine at this time, and sometimes call-out charges can cost as much as a new machine. If anyone can suggest a reason for the dial to have stopped turning by itself I'd be most grateful. It's driving me to distraction having to stand over it all the time- I'm having to go back to hand washing! (Not the best option when you have a family!)

a lot of machines are on a timed fill,if the timer does not get feed from pressure swich,it moves on to what we call an empty cam position,(no power)so the machine will stick on that position, you over came this when you moved the timer on yourself,so this is why i think that the fill hose/smay be kinked, pull machine out and check,
