My showers head, on a mira 415 with the red override button, is dripping and I was wondering how easy it is to install a new seal. I've read a couple of previous comments and the general oppinion is to fit a new cartridge but i was going to try a new seal first if its not too difficult. Are the seal kits easy to obtain and about how much are they. Cheers Les.
Yes if the inlet seals are worn they let water through that water then comes out via the outlet valve to the shower head. In other words the shower can't turn off properly because the seals are worn.
Have to agree with Gary. The seal pack for a 415 only contains seals which fit aginst the inlet ports on the cartridge. Therefore if the shower is letting by through the head then a cartridge is required. If its leaking from the control then the seal pack may do the trick.
Rubish I have fitted a seal kit to my Mira 415 before they are easily available from Mira 08702410888 or these links:

PS I am just about to fit another.
Hi you can not get the sealS as they are inside the cartridge and not designed to be serviced, so you will need a new cartridge part number 902.55, try National shower spares , www.showerspares.com or tel 0845 126 4141.
