there was a power cut overnight boiler failed to ignite this morning tried pressing button through hole in bottom.no success but button did not click. does this mean sensor u.s. and needs replacement ? Is there any other explanation?
Parts for the Profile ARE available!
The original Neataheat is getting to obsolescence, the casing seal on the profile is fine, I believe Garu Farhall has got confused with the original neataheat NOT the profile, simple mistake to make however.
A powercut won't stop the boiler working its probably a fault with the pragrmmer, a power surge may have blown the fuse on the pcb on the boiler. That button you pressed is the overheat reset. It will only click if it has overheated. If your boiler is not lighting it could be the gas valve, pcb, fan or pressure switch. These should be checked by a gas safe engineer. Parts for this boiler are no longer available and to be honest it probably needs replacing. I wouldnt try to fix this yourself as the casing seal must not be damaged or this will make the boiler unsafe.
