Yamaha jog R wont start at all!?Hello, i have had some major problems with my Yamaha Jog R 50cc 2005 model. The first time it died on me it was cutting out even with a small amount of throttle applied. A solved this issue by removing the carb and giving it a good spray with carb cleaner and a bath in carb cleaner. This solved the issue and the scooter was running fantastic. After that i noticed it sounded like the scooter was sort of backfiring so with a little adjustment of the air/fuel mixture it was running even better. Now here comes the problem...yesterday i was out on a ride, the scooter was fine until i got off and went into the house for about an hour. When i tried to start the scooter it was giving me nothing, not on the electric start or the kick start. I removed the plug, it was fine, i earthed it against the scooters frame, good spark. I then tested compression, the compression is good and strong (used the finger over the firing chamber trick). There is fuel getting into the firing chamber but not much, which leads me to believe it could be the carburetor not sucking fuel into the engine as the scooter is a vaccum fed system. But could this also be a problem with it not getting enough air into the firing chamber? I have cleaned all the carb out several times now, everything looks sound and in order, im absolutely stumped on this one, any suggestions would be fantastic thanks!
