AEG FAVORIT 7080 sensorlogic - fault diagnosis from flashing lights?
I have an AEG OKO_FAVORIT 7080 sensorlogic dishwasher, which has recently started displaying flashing lights. This seems to occur if I opne the door mid-cycle, or soemtimes on it's own at the end of a cycle. The lights that flash are:
Rinsing - Final Rinse - End, and also Rinse Aid and Salt.
Re-selecting the programme stops the lights flashing but starts the programm again from scratch.
I have also noticed at least two occassions recently where the detergent tablet has not been completely disolved and gone at the end of the cycle and I suspect the fault is terminating the cycle early.
I don't think these things are relavenu but for completeness. I have a separate water softener so never use salt in the machine's softener. It's been OK since moving to this house 3 years ago. I don't use separate rinse aid, but instead buy powerball tablets - am using generic cheaper tablets recently but don't think this is the problem.
Where can I find a manual to determine the nature of the fault, and what must be done to fix it?
I've had a similar problem with my AEG. It's most probably the aqua control system. If water leaks into the base of the dishwasher there is a float switch that cuts off the water supply and turns on the pump. It's designed to avoid flooding your house. To clear it you need to tip the dishwasher back so the water runs out. Then the dishwasher should work normally again, and you can check out the leak.
