We have a Beko WMP541 W washing machine that we inherited from a friend. It was working fine at her house, but now after transit and re-fitting does not drain at the end of the cycle.
We have tried emptying and cleaning the filter, and have double checked the water pipe connections but there is nothing obviously wrong.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as this model is now discontinued and does not feature in many other forums.
i've seen this caused by the pump so i would first check the filters for this if fitted first.
i've also seen this caused by a faulty pressure switch. there isn't much to go wrong with a pressure switch; they are simple little devices that meassure the head of pressure in the drum to tell it when it is full and empty. most common fault with them is that the tube to the switch has become clogged with crystals from the soap powder/softener/etc.
power down the machine, remove the pannel from the top of the machine, find the switch (will normally be above the drum with a tube from the outlet at the bottom of the drum running up to it), then gently pull off the tube from the pressure switch end and blow into the tube pushing air into the drum to clear any blockage. quite a bit of lung power seems to normally do the trick although i had to remove the other end of the tube and poke into the hole on the outlet with a screwdriver once to clear a blockage.
