Hi
I have had this fridge freezer about 6 years now and for the past 3 months the fridge is not as cold as it use to be and also the same issue with the freezer the food in the freezer does not seem to freez as much as they use to.
I have tried turning off and resetting the dials for temp control but this did not work.
I have since de frosted the freezer and this made it a little colder but not like it use To be when I first had the fridge freezer.
Someone suggested changing the thermostat would this be a cause of my problem if so does anyone know where this is located on this model
It may well be the thermostat, but first try a "full blown de-ice"..
Frost-free freezers are notorious for the internal airways getting clogged with frost and ice.
As the channels are internal and out of sight, if this happens, you have to take out all the food, open the doors, and leave in a warm room for a couple of days until it is all thawed out and there is no more water dripping into the cabinet or into the evaporation tray .
Well worth the 2 day wait as hidden pipes get frozen up ,even though the freezers are sold as frost free !!
