the upper thread keeps getting stuck around the bobbin and the thread breaks
i took the machine apart to see that when i lower the threaded needle it get stuck around the bobin
Hello Linda,
Start from scratch and see what happens, first make sure you have the needle in the correct way round and make sure it is all the way to the top, make sure you have the machine threaded correctly, make sure you have the tension set properly, about 4 0r 5 should be normal, when you thread the machine make sure the presser foot is in the up position so the thread goes between the tension discs properly, I know you are probably saying 'it is threaded properly' but trust me, you will be surprised how many people have slipped up on one minor thing, give it a try and if you are still having a problem send me an e-mail and I will help you out.
