How to bypass/disable the Immobiliser on a 1999 3DR Peugeot 306 HDI D Turbo?
Got a flat battery whilst on holiday, got a new battery. Car will start but stalls straight away....been told to have the immobiliser disbaled/bypassed...need to know how...Thanks!
Hi i have the same problem with my 1999 clio when you go to start it up the Immobiliser flashes like hell on the dash could someone help or have the same prob as i need it fixing as i need it for work i am having to get the buss atm
Make the battery go completly flat again, then put your keys in the ignition and turn on before you connect any jump leads. This should then recognise the key when you start it.
I had the same problem with my clio... It turned out to be the idle control valve which is not picked up on computers... about 100 pound fitted at an auto electrical... though sometimes cleaning the sensor may get it going for a few more months!
mine was on its last legs and kept forgetting its own pass-code
i was told it may be pricey to have it fixed
this is what i did.
have the engine running
- lift the box with the numbers
- pull out the wires.
engine will keep running and car has defaulted to no-immobiliser, so it starts without it next time - and forever
the thing is the engine must be running while this is done otherwise the default/shutdown mode initiates.
is there any way you can get it running long enough for you to do this?
